  • Still Winter

    The birds were home at long last, each tweeting their own beautiful melody. The greenery continued to unfurl, spring birthing outwards. Here was I, still in the darkest depths of the longest, harshest winter ever known, while the rush of the new season rolled out, dancing before me in ecstasy.

  • Snow Bears

    One has a grin, the other a frown; comedy and tragedy in Arctic form. Let's call them Brav and Trist. Both behave similarly, as snow bears do, lolloping in the soft, white, pureness of their environment.   • The battle

    With a large turnover of thought, it's easy to go sideways. It's a blessing and a curse, lateral thinking is my favourite quality but if it's not tailored or kept in rain it can run away in the wrong directions.
