Pablo 1.2

"Strength is what we gain from the madness we survive."

That first time

I was passing glass

where greyhounds pant

one eye open

on a poorly fitted rollerblind

called on thrice to usher in

twin undertakers -

Noah's boys

                   measuring the stairs

All the bullfighters are pissed

gored

we never much cared for them

regardless

those rained on Spanish sketches

Pablo was another matter

A cold filled roll

a hardboiled migraine, a tabloid

resting uneasy on the margins

dislocating how we lurch, fast

sectioned at the races

where long odds accumulate

the running gag - 13, 15, 29, 40

a Cubist jumble, half man, dog

barking

The Deepest Sorrow

I wish I felt anything but anger when I see a pregnant woman, affectionately caressing the home in which her baby grows safely. Pain wears the veil of anger so as not to be seen. It buries itself deep in the heart of me where it is safe fr...
