I Would Take You to My Shadow

Fixation is not good for your wellbeing:

If all the light in the cosmos
Illuminated my past, present and future;
If every photon embraced every cell
And made me a beacon to all in the world but you,
I would take you to my shadow
And let it guide you through the darkness,
Holding up a solitary candle
To save my heart from freezing.

But writing can help to purge your mind and purify your soul.
